Sapphic Valentine

Together our cream filled dreams lay satisfied
Open petals of flowers once wet, licked dry
You on my chest, my hand on your breast
My heart in your chest beats inside
Happy sighs snuggled bodies
My Sapphic valentine.

The night began hand in hand heart in heart
As many do, it still rings true, our love will never part
Many years contained in one touch, a simple kiss did spark
As hand and hand became tongue on tongue
And hands did wander.

Kisses, open and sweet, our lips did meet
Fingertips traced. Soft on soft, our kisses hard
Hearts and imagination raced.
I let out a moan, you answered back
A signal to attack, like the scent of prey

“Come my love. Let us take this to the bedroom.”
As if there was a room we would and had not christened.
We walked there hand in hand or rather touch to touch
For wandering hands did not remain still
Butterfly touch, gentle rub, insistent grabs, wanting nudge

Upon the bed, clothes put away their dirtiness tidied, hid away
Our dirtiness begun, displayed, paraded for only our eyes
Lay back and let me feast on your delights
Mounds of plenty, satisfying and sweet
Delta, flowing with life’s sustenance for without it, without you, I’d die.
