Why Fear the Dark

Why fear the dark?
Is that not where we dream?
No-one goes to the light to get lost in fantasy,
Nor do they stare into the sun,
Otherwise they'd go blind.
I fear not the dark.
For I am light.
Even more so, 
When I close my eyes.
