What If We Come Undone

What if that’s not it? The end is not tomorrow or the day after but it is instead a beginning.
Oh they say that every day is a beginning.
And that’s true. But what if tomorrow is A beginning. A nexus, an inflection point in history.
History is long.
History is long. Our lives are short. Our power is finite … alone. But together-

Together as one
Actions equal reactions
They’re united too

Tomorrow has come and the world has not come undone but it has ended.
Being over dramatic.
Histrionics, history, his story, no story, no words. Actions so loud, I cover my ears and cry.
Let me get you a tissue.
Don’t be cruel. Today I weep. Grieving for a tomorrow that will never come.

Drama’s curtain call
The theater of the absurd
Tragic comedy

Tomorrow there will be a sun. Tomorrow I will fight. Tomorrow will be when hope begins.
But tonight …
Tonight I mourn. Tonight I weep. To the night I give my soul and my light.
Long may it burn
But oh when the morning comes, and the sun shines bright. Then my soul will rejoice.

The sun’s bright light shines
Illuminating all things
Then there shall be hope
