Dating Is Hard

Dating is hard and kind of weird. Especially in the beginning. I’m married so I don’t date much hehehe but my characters do, my children and friends do and it hasn’t gotten any easier since I was doing it from what I’ve seen.

The whole meeting a person that you would want to go on a date with is near impossible if you have any sort of standards it seems. Are you attracted to that person physically, do they have a personality, can you live with said personality, are they even available, are they attracted to you? It’s a lot to overcome in a matter of minutes or even seconds when trying to approach someone for a date.

Sure there are apps now (back in my day you had to stalk and pounce lol *I’m kidding!*) but the apps are no better for dating than without. You still have all the questions of meeting a person it’s just now you have more choices and less non verbal clues. Also, now instead of just your general vicinity you have a whole city range. So add in distance into the dating equation, and don’t even get me started on long distance dating.

All of that is to say dating is not easy. So if you’re out there, good on you! The odds are stacked against you, people suck and oh yeah pandemic is still hanging around but look at you; going out there with your heart on your sleeve, or other clothing part 👀, and willing to give it your all, or at least a coffee on a Friday evening between 4:30 and 5:15 because I have a Pilates class I can’t miss.

I have a WIP (Work In Progress) that involves a couple of woman going on their first few dates. This story should appear on my site soon. Its a short story and I hope you’ll enjoy it. If you want to read some of my other stories you can check out the stories page here and my books here.

I Long

Woman with her eyes closed
I long for your body
Your love and kisses
Your lips on mine
Our embrace
Fire
I need you here
Within my arms
To hold and have
To care for and not harm

I yearn for your sighs
Exhales of breath
Release of tension
Your touch melts
Puddle in my hand
Form our love within firm grasp

Hold me I beg
Take all of me
Fears and triumphs
Bad habits and all
Gather it within your strong arms

Yield to me
Become a servant of my love
Bound and bonded
Held firm by consent, desire and need
Bowed upon bended knee

I long for us
To become one
Formed, filled, fullness
Infinite with no end
You becomes I when I become you
We is a need
I need to be, the me I am
When I am with you

My Book was reviewed on a podcast

My book Fornication’s Fire was recently reviewed on the podcast All The Filthy Details. The podcast has a mix of erotic reading, interview with an author and book reviews. My book was reviewed along with two other books. The review is a bit into the podcast so if you’re looking just for it you’re going to have to go in a bit but I recommend listening to the whole thing it’s worth a listen.

Why I Write Erotica

Well, I don’t write JUST erotica but it is my main genre of writing especially with short stories. Why? It’s what I enjoy writing most. I enjoy the sex scenes. I enjoy setting them up, executing them and the results in a realistic way. I think erotica is legitimate literature. Creating good erotica is not easy. Do I do it? I try. I want to create a story, something with a beginning, middle and end, conflict, resolution and to have sex being the main ingredient, the central theme. That is what erotica is.

Writing Update

Writing update time!
*I’m not a white woman but otherwise the picture works. lol

So update time! I have two new books out: one erotic novella out “A Shared Surprise” and one erotic poetry collection “Fornication’s Fire”.

A Shared Surprise was published at the end of December. It’s available on Amazon. A short novella about a girl stuck at home after her first year at university because of the pandemic. Things get heated with her boyfriend, her girl friend from down the hall and what happens when the one finds out about the other. Read the blurb below.

Tiffany is stuck at home during the summer because of the pandemic. She can’t see her boyfriend and a girl has needs. Sexting can only satisfy so much. Her old high school friend is home from school; maybe she can help keep the boredom away. Hmmm. Boyfriend and girl friend? Things could get interesting. Who doesn’t like surprises, especially when they’re shared between friends?

A Shared Surprise is an erotic short story that explores what happens when a secret is exposed. Hot, steamy and explicit. Enjoy A Shared Surprise now.

Fornication’s Fire was published at the beginning of January. It’s available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. A collection of 30 poems about, yep you guessed it, fornicating. LOL Erotic, hot modern poetry. Much the same as my previous two poetry collection books. Read the blurb below.

Fornication’s Fire is a collection of 30 erotic poems that feature thoughts and actions dealing with fornication. An act of passion, desire, duty, resignation? All aspects of sexual intercourse are looked at in this hot collection of poems. Intended to excite both body and mind Fornication’s Fire will burn through you and leave you begging for more.

Well now that those two are out and in the wild what am I working on now? Well, I’m continuously writing poetry and plan on having another 30 poem erotic poetry book out in January of 2022. This one dealing with the relationships and the after of getting together. So sort of the last part of “The Sex Cycle” where the first “The Sex Cycle” was all three, second “Seduced by Seduction” was the foreplay, “Fornication’s Fire” was the intercourse and the last “To be titled” will be the After. Though it wasn’t my initial intention to do a three book collection focusing on each that’s what has come together so I’m running with it. hehe

I’m also working sporadically on a short story to be put up for free here on the website about a lesbian couple who come together. It’s basically their meeting and initial date(s) before getting into bed. You’ll see, just trust me. This should be done shortly. Hopefully within a month or two.

My next erotic story is one I’m really interested in. Working title Black Box about a woman who is taken into a totally blacked out room where there is no light so she’s left in total darkness where she will have a sexual encounter without being able to see who it is or what they look like. It will be more of a character study type work and one of my longer works. There will be memories of earlier sexual experiences in her life, interspersed between the hot sensual experience she has in the black room and there will be more than one person involved. Exploring themes of touch, the senses, sexual exploration and acceptance. It should be quite an interesting read. The outlines and thoughts in my head are and I think you’ll enjoy it.

That’s it for now. Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think or if you have any thoughts. Signing off … The Author – Stew/Stu.

A review of the book Snowfall by Benson E. Wolf

Snowfall is an erotic book by Benson E. Wolf. It explores the getting together and relationship between Miranda and Cyrus; a younger woman, older man, daddy dom relationship. Here is the description from Amazon:

Miranda doesn’t normally submit to letting life happen to her—so she’s going to chase after what she wants.

And she wants Cyrus.

Smart, sexy, and not afraid to change her life’s course, Miranda is a stunning self-made 24-year-old who left Las Vegas for a career outside of Boston, Massachusetts. However, she didn’t plan on reliving the thirst of the Nevada desert when she met her neighbor, the rugged, assertive, but caring Cyrus McManus. She only knows that she needs him to quench that thirst…

Miranda’s not looking for love—so submitting herself to a no strings attached arrangement with the dominate New Englander is fine with her… until she wants his strings.

After almost a decade, widower Cyrus McManus continues to struggle with the emotional aftermath of his wife’s death. Focusing his life as the father of teenage twins, he is content with the occasional fleeting one-night stand. The bearded author has closed himself off from the hope of romance forever—or so he thinks. Will he be the proper father figure who takes Miranda in hand or will he give her a new meaning of daddy issues?

Their lives become hopelessly entangled and what starts as a steamy physical agreement quickly becomes more. But they might have bigger issues than a relationship struggle as skeletons come out of both closets wanting to dance with their demons…

This paperback issue has all 5 Parts of Snowfall, Freeze Watch, Hoarfrost, Polar Vortex, Bomb Cyclone, and Apricity.

This is a review of the paperback from an ARC – advanced reader copy.

A Daddy Dom story with some depth and twists. If you like Daddy Doms and BDSM with character and plot this is a book for you. I was not as thrilled as I’m not heavily into reading those. The story is mostly good though even if you aren’t.  Some of the character’s characteristics or actions I personally wasn’t a fan of but that was more of a personal taste than anything to do with the writing. I’d give it a B-. Nice to see some long form erotica that doesn’t mind telling a tale and exploring characters.
