“You can’t use a class 5 troll in a bat dungeon.”

“You can if you pay enough money,” said Edward.

“If your dad wasn’t rich you would never be able to buy all the shit you do,” replied DJ.

“If my dad wasn’t rich, I’d have to get a job and you’d be stuck playing with yourself,” said Edward. Then after a pause he said, “And playing with yourself! Ha!”

“You’re such a nerd. Like the hugest nerd. No nerd bigger than you.”

“Whatever, Loser.”

“Shut up.”

“Teeny DJ, loser boozer. Taco do-er!”

“Shut up Edward!”

“What are you going to do if I don’t?” asked Edward, pausing the game to look at DJ.

“I’d ask you to leave and take your shit with you,” said DJ.

“I don’t even have any shit here, dumb ass.”

“Yeah well, good thing because I wouldn’t want any of your dodgy shit around here anyway.”

“You can’t afford my shit ass licker!”

“I wouldn’t want your shit if it was covered in gold!” yelled DJ.

“Melanie, what are you doing?” asked Joe.

“I think the boys are fighting,” she whispered, even though she was inside the house and nobody but Joe could hear her. She was watching the monitor of the security cameras around the house. Particularly the one that showed the guest house in the back.

“Are you spying on them again? They’re grown men Mel,” said Joe.

“I know, but DJ is so sensitive. And you know how Edward can get.”

Joe rolled his eyes.

“You spoil that boy, you know that?”

“He’s leaving!” said Melanie.

“Who?”

“Edward! And he’s got a bag with him.”

“Mel, leave those men alone. Besides you know how they are. This will blow over, they’ll kiss and make up. They’re both a little,” he paused, “impetuous.”

“But DJ gets so upset, said Melanie turning to Joe, “He throws those tantrums and -”

“Shhh. Shhh,” said Joe, taking her into his arms. “I take some blame for that. I should have prepared, you, him, hell everyone but I was busy with work and he grew up so fast. It sucks getting old sometimes.”

“Oh you’re not that old Joe,” said Melanie, swatting him on his arm.

“Either way, he could have been brought up better. I take some blame for that,” said Joe.

Melanie looked at the monitor again. DJ had come out of the house and the two of them were talking in the back near the pool.

“I think Edward apologized,” she said with her attention on the monitor. “Oh look Edward kissed him and squeezed his ass. Oh, you were right Joe. I should have listened to you.”
