“Such as you kissing me and other tongue related activities.”

“Other tongue related activities?”

“Oh, I thought you had experience with those? Maybe it was another sexy lawyer . . .”

“Oh sure because we all look alike right?”

“Wow. You went there huh?”

“Oh, you expected me not to?”

“I shouldn’t have. There’s not anywhere you won’t go, is there?”

“No, especially when it comes to your body.”

“Wow. That really works huh?”

“It works. I’m a lawyer, trust me.”

Maria busted out laughing.

“Okay, that was pretty good,” said Maria.

“So, when are we getting together again?”

“I don’t know. I’m pretty busy all this week. And Saturday I’ve got my niece’s birthday party, I gotta do her hair before and -”

“Friday night. It doesn’t matter what time. When you’re done at the salon I’ll pick you up, we’ll get some food, go back to your place, watch a movie. Saturday I’ll make you breakfast before you go to your niece’s.”

“Ummm.  Uh, okay. See you Friday.”

“That’s what I like to hear. You agree with me.” Juanita laughed.

“Don’t get too used to it. Just when you’re right.”

“So most of the time.”

Maria laughed. “Yeah.”

***

Juanita sat in the car and looked at her phone.

“Do I call her and let her know I’m here or do I just walk in? I’m nervous. Why am I nervous about walking into that woman’s place of employment?  Not like I ain’t never picked up a date at work before. Yet here I am waiting in my car. Fuck it.”

“Hey baby. I just pulled up; you want me to meet you inside?”

“Hey Juanita. We’re just cleaning up. Come on in. I’ll just be a little bit. The door will be open.”

“That wasn’t so hard was it bitch? I swear this woman got me fucked up and we ain’t even done shit yet.”

Juanita walked in the salon and looked around for Maria, while checking out the shop. There was a small waiting area and next to that a line of hair dryer chairs along the wall.  About four washing/styling stations and a cashier’s station as you walk in. It was a nice sized place.

“Hey Juanita!” said Maria. She walked towards her with a big smile, her arms forward and open.

She enveloped her in a hug. “Welcome to the shop. I shouldn’t be too long. Let me introduce you.”

Taking her hand she led her towards the back.

“Juanita this is Tanya, Tanya this is Juanita,” said Maria.

“Nice to meet you,” said Tanya,

“Nice to meet you,” replied Juanita.
