Robot love is cold
Metallic touch of the heart
Leaves me heart broken


Laugh all you want. I don’t care. She meant more to me than any of you Fleshies ever did! Plastic though she was. I mean I know the heat I felt was generated by electric wires. Her voice came through a speaker, pre recorded sounds with an AI DJ. I’m not stupid. And I’m not crazy! I was … I was just in love.

  5. We did start with the same premise, Stew, but I love the direction your haibun took. I especially love the first haiku and the ending. Did you too read Asimov too as a teenager?
