Chest Nuts & Sugar Plums

Chest nuts proud and ripe
Standing tall tonight
Upon a Christmas eve cold and blustery
Wrapped within a dress so tight

Sugar Plums beneath a package large
Holding a white dream of frosted bliss
Is this a treat for me tonight
Upon a Christmas eve

Your chest nuts are hot,
Roasting in my minds eye
Uncovered to bare their glory
Like a star shining in the east on a dark night

Let your sugar plums dance on my tongue
Jingled like sleigh bells on a rough snowy land
I can feel your stirring
Roar like a lion, I’m no mouse

Jack, frost my nips
See it drip from my chest nuts
Rubbing … noses like Eskimos
Will you find it hard

Sugar plums hung
Like stockings by the fire
Settle on the bed, all through the house
Bring forth such a clatter they hear it on the lawn

Chest nuts roasting hot, an open fire
Sugar plums dancing, their heads hard
Loaded with toys and goodies
Moon on the breasts of fallen snow
Now I exclaim as has been said many times
Oh, oh, oh! And to all a good night.
